General Meeting Minutes - January 2010

President/Vice President’s Report:
- JL gave a brief run down of the social and sporting events that were scheduled for the 2010 calendar year.
- Social events:- Binna Burra Breakfast, Christmas in July.
- Sporting events:- HRCC, MPSS, FoSC Six Hour Mountain Relay.
- JL asked several new members in attendance to introduce themselves.
- Both (TT) and (TH) introduced themselves and provided a rundown of their interests and what they were looking to gain from the club.
Membership Secretary’s report:
- Membership Report
- Currently there are 30 paid up members.
- New Members
- 3 New members have joined the club.
- Membership list completed and new cards will be printed. ACTION ITEM (PH) to send (WG) name of contact at Printer.
- Club phone has been disconnected. All membership enquiries sure be directed to 0416 137 308.
Treasurer’s Report:
- General Account:- There is currently $10,759.83 in this account
- NDN09 Account:- There is currently $10.00 in this account and no outstanding debt. Monies need to be removed from this account before being used up in bank fees. Monies from sale of surplus NDN09 equipment to be paid into the general account.
Secretary’s Report:
- Concessionary registration Letters:- Only one concessionary registration letter drafted for Ray Beckman.
- Email broadcast feedback:- Have been able to eliminate 10 email addresses from the club database.
- Australia Post Mailout feedback:- As yet have received no return mail from the 89 letters sent out to past and present club members.
New Business:
- "Application for Club Affiliation" form completed;
- Request passed on from Richard Greenup for articles for Club Newsletter;
- There will be 12 people attending the Binna Burra Breakfast event.
- Items discussed:-
- Z Car Club has 2 teams entered into the “Six Hour Mountain Relay Event” over Easter Weekend 2010;
- Request for other Club members who intend to attend event and assist with running of the teams;
- Discussion regards a suitable team/teams manager;
Action Items:
- (JH) was asked by (DM) to make inquiries and get quotes regards sourcing larger club stickers for race cars and for anyone else who may like one to put on their car. Stickers will be designed to fit both front and rear windscreens but can be fitted to the car at the owner’s discretion of course. 10 with white background and 10 with clear background were agreed upon on the night.
