President's Report:
- JL - Club President was not at the meeting.
- DM Informed the meeting that the “LapZ at the Lake 2011” event turned out to be a success after a very shaky start. This was mainly because entries were very slow coming in but the required number was reached and the event provided a small profit. There were 38 Z’s out of 72 participants at the event and all but 3 of the vehicle were of Japanese manufacture. This event was a $14,000.00 exercise after taking into account the track hire fee, breakfast costs and other sundry costs. The new club badges also sold well at the Lakeside event.
- DM has also received several “Thank You” emails since the event from participants who enjoyed the event immensely. Dustin then advised that he would be looking for someone else to that over the reins and organise any future “LapZ at the Lake” events
- Membership Report
- Currently there are 91 financial club members that include 14 partner memberships. Since the last meeting 3 new members have joined the club.
- The current balance of the club’s general account is $xxxx credit.
- Since the last meeting all electronic mail has been forwarded to all club members. There has only been one request for a concessional registration letter.
