THE LOFTY LUNCH Our Club's Patron Lofty Drews, and his wife Judy, have kindly offered to have the Club up to their house and property for a Barbeque lunch outside of Clifton, to see their new property, talk about Lofty’s past and to look at some of his old photos. The Local Butchers Gourmet Sausages come highly recommended so the club will be buying these and bread etc for people who RSVP for the Lunch by the Wednesday the 9th of April 2008 Date: Sunday the 13th of April 2008 Meet at: McDonalds Car Park at Goodna UBD REF: Map 216 Ref L 13 Time: 8.00am for an 8.15am Departure SHARP. If you want to have a coffee before hand please arrive earlier Duration: Most of the day Maps: RACQ Brisbane/Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Maps, these are free to RACQ Ultra and above members Direction: Basic directions will be emailed out in the week prior to the event to those who have RSVP Distance: From Goodna return is approximately 320kms Fuel Restriction: There is a BP which sells Ultimate just before the McDonalds at Goodna and there is BP outside Gatton on the return trip which also sells Ultimate Road Conditions: We will be traveling on Highway and back country roads, with Heifer Creek Road being a great alternate route up and back from the Darling Downs.
