Richard and Wilbur commenced active club Motorsport involvement in 1996, following completion of a 4 year restoration on a 1977 260Z. As father and son we both had a passionate interest in motor cars and Motorsport in general. We have both been members of the Z car Club of Queensland since the mid 1990’s.

The actual running of a car at Lakeside International Raceway in 1996 ignited a level of interest that has taken us from Club Sprints, Driver Training days, to participation in Tarmac rally events – namely Classic Adelaide in 2004 (25th in Late Classic Section) & 2005 (20th in Late Classic Section). It is worth noting that out of 90+ cars in the 2005 Late Classic Section (cars made between 1972 – 1980) we placed 20th with approx. 13 Porsches in the places ahead of us.

Over the last 10 years we have enjoyed many hours of fun and met many great personalities. We have also gained tremendous experience in preparation and running of classic cars such as the Datsun 260Z (we now have 4 Z cars 3 x 260Z, 1 x 240Z) + many spares.
