About our club

The club was formed in 1984 by Alan Stean, proprietor of the Z Car Workshop who saw a need for enthusiasts to get together in appreciation of the Nissan - Datsun Z car marque. Since then they have provided a means to organize social and motorsport events of interest to Z car enthusiasts. During the year the club of 100+ members attends regular car events such as Cars & Coffee around Brisbane, Southeast Queensland and Byron Bay, Sprint Race Meetings at Morgan Park, and Club Runs taking the group to points of interest in and around Southeast Queensland. This, plus social events and attending the regular Monthly Members Meeting, keeps them very active in many different areas celebrating the iconic Z car.
